Bobby Kotick is the president and Chief Executive Officer of Activision Blizzard. He attended the University of Michigan to study Art History. He dropped out of college to start and run his own software company, marking the beginning of his software Tech career.

Bobby Kotick previously served as chairman and CEO of Activision before merging to be Activision Blizzard. Activision Blizzard company was founded in 2008 and has become a successful global developer and publisher of entertainment.

Some of the most popular video games such as; World of Warcraft, Guitar Hero, Overwatch, Candy Crush Saga, Call of Duty, and Guitar Hero among many others are owned by Activision Blizzard. Bobby first attempt in the video game industry was in 1987. In 1990, he bought a 25% stake at Activision and after four years it thrived. Under Bobby Kotick’s leadership, the company has flourished and is continuing to implement new techniques to stay consistent in the industry.

Bobby Kotick owns a non-profit organization, Call of Duty Endowment (CODE), that supports and helps veterans who have retired from their military careers. After retiring, many veterans struggle to find jobs, the project donates $522 to help them. Since its establishment in 2009, the project has helped thousands of veterans.

Bobby Kotick serves on several boards like; The Coca-Cola Company, Harvard-Westlake School, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He has received multiple accolades such as; Vanity Fair’s 2016 New Establishment List, Top 100 Leaders in Media by Adweek 2015, and 2016 Best Performing CEOs in the world by Harvard Business Reviews.

According to Fortune 2017, he was named one of the longest-running heads of a tech company. He is among the 45th most overpaid CEOs in the USA. He gets criticized for his salary, reported to be 306 times more than the average company’s employee.

He starred in the movie Moneyball in 2011, in which he agreed to appear for the charity of his non-profit organization, the Call of Duty Endowment.
