LIBERATION EFFORTS BY ALLIANCE DEFENDING FREEDOM
Alliance Defending Freedom is an American non-profit conservative Christian group that works to protect freedom of religion, freedom of speech, purity of life, and equality and diversity in marriages. It was previously known as Alliance Defense Fund. It was founded in 1993 by Christian members. The goals of Alliance Defending Freedom are as follows:
Equality and diversity of marriages: Marriages benefit the community. It is a union between two or more consenting adults. It is more about the individual rather than the community and children. The government works hand in hand with ADF to protect the policies of marriages. Strong marriages make a healthy and stable community.
Purity of life: Every human life is sacred and should be protected and valued at every stage. ADF strongly opposes abortion. On June 24, 2022, Alliance Defending Freedom celebrated its victory when the Supreme Court upturned the 1973 Roe V. Wade verdict about abortion. They believe in saving lives and cultivating a future that honors and respects life.
Freedom of speech: Every person has a right to freedom of speech without fear of legal penalties, suppression, and retribution. It is protected by the U.S constitution, which states that Congress shall make no law truncating freedom of speech. Alliance Defending Freedom has taken on cases related to violation of the right of speech, such as Speech First v. Shrum, Barbieri v. Jeitschko, and McCord v. South Madison Community School Corporation.
Freedom of religion: The law supports manifest religion in education, observance, and practice. ADF fights to protect attempts that make people compromise their beliefs. They have taken on crucial cases to defend religious freedom throughout America, like the Arizona Christian University v. Washington Elementary School District case.
Alliance Defending Freedom has backed many people that have opinions that differ from others. They believe a community should be free to exchange ideas and tolerate different views. Vsit this page for more information.
