Marwan Kheireddine Talks on Growing the Lebanese Economy

Marwan Kheireddine is a Lebanese entrepreneur who aims to improve Lebanon’s economy. Lebanon is experiencing an economic crisis with inflation and food shortages leading to an increase in the price of goods. Marwan Kheireddine is a Lebanese banking expert and AM Bank, Chairman.

Kheireddine notes that the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the Lebanese economy, and as the country tried to grow, it has further been affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. Lebanon imports at least eighty-five percent of its consumables and the increased cost of food and energy has caused a significant strain on the economy.

Marwan, the banking expert, deciphers that Lebanon and the IMF entered into an unconstitutional and unlawful draft agreement. The IMF vowed to provide Lebanon with $3 billion over four years. The AM Bank, a member of the Banks Association in Lebanon, suspended its membership as the association failed to protect the depositors and did not act in their best interests by not raising a motion against the state.

Marwan Kheireddine is an encouraging thought leader advocating for economic growth through the support and production of the industrial sector. He has focused on the private sector and has introduced Virgin Megastores and credit cards in Lebanon.
