PlayUp Global CEO Daniel Simic Details the Brand

PlayUp Global, the world’s leading fan engagement and live digital experience provider, has appointed Daniel Simic as its CEO.

Since joining PlayUp in 2013, Simic has led several successful initiatives contributing to the company’s rapid global growth. His mandate will be to take PlayUp from being a global player to becoming the most recognized brand in the industry for fan engagement and live entertainment experiences.

Simic, a shareholder in PlayUp, has played a vital role in the company’s success since he joined Samsung. The company provides live and on-demand sports and entertainment fan engagement content across the world’s leading media platforms for over 20 of the world’s biggest brands, including Ferrari, Red Bull Technology, England Rugby, Peugeot Sport V6 Racing, and Super League Rugby.

He has overseen expansion into Australia, Europe, and Asia to become one of the largest IPTV content providers globally. PlayUp has offices in Sydney and Munich, with plans to expand further into Asia.

Simic will continue to head up the company’s Media & Marketing division. The division has worked on several major television and digital campaigns for global clients in the past two years, including BT Sport, Chelsea FC, Manchester United, and Barcelona.

The appointment of Daniel Simic as CEO is part of PlayUp Global’s rapid growth phase. The company is now recognized as one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing sports media companies. Today, PlayUp employs more than 200 staff across its offices in Sydney, Munich, and Los Angeles, with plans to open new offices in Asia.
