Miki Agrawal Delivers Advice As a Public Speaker

Miki Agrawal is a social entrepreneur, speaker, author, and social activist. Miki started her career as the CEO of Thrive Global online magazine. Thrive provides sustainable solutions to global health issues through video, events, and digital content. In 2013, she co-founded Thinx underwear, which aims to disrupt conventional menstruation with its unique period underwear. In 2015, she founded Good Health, built around the idea that health is not just about what’s inside our body but what we do with it too. Her mission is to change the world one period at a time.

Miki Agrawal has been recognized for her work in the media. In 2015, The Week named Agrawal one of the 30 Most Influential Women under 30; Forbes named her a “30 Under 30” recipient in 2016, and she was listed as a “Top 20 Millennial” on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list in 2017. In 2018, she was included on the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders list.

Agrawal is a TED speaker. At the 2015 Women Deliver conference, she gave a talk on menstrual health. She also discussed “Period Politics” at The Global Future 2045 initiative in 2016. She has given talks on how menstruation impacts health at Fortune’s Brainstorm Health event and has been a speaker at the Women’s World Banking WBA Capital launch event along with Eve Ensler. She has also spoken at Davos’s White House and The Global entrepreneurship summit. She was featured as a speaker at Harvard Business School’s Women In The Global Economy Summit in February 2018.

Agrawal is the founder of Good Health, a wellness brand for women globally. It offers nutritional supplements, yoga and meditation classes, and anti-stress products, including tampons made from hemp paper.

Miki Agrawal was part of the first Harvard Business School class to be offered free yoga classes on campus as part of its wellness initiative. The course is open to every HBS student and professor with a Yale University email address. Yoga in the Harvard Club and the WeWork (office space) system with other yoga groups have also been offered, and she has appeared at HBS commencement events. She appeared on a morning show where she taught students about the benefits of yoga and later gave students her TED talk.
