Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is one of the world’s largest organizations dedicated to preserving life’s sanity, free speech, how God designed marriage, and religious freedom. The Christian community leaders created this organization in 1994 to serve clients of various religious beliefs, including Muslims, people with no faith, Mormons, Jews, and Jehovah’s Witnesses. Because religious freedom allows people to explore and express their religious beliefs at their places of worship or homes, ADF ensures that everyone has equal constitutional freedoms.

In the United States, religious cases were brought by various religious minority groups for several years. Today, the US government has created legislation that protects these religious groups. The Academic Freedom Center of the Alliance Defending Freedom has won over 400 victories defending students’ free speech rights. ADF assisted Michelle Gregoire, and her friends in promoting the club they had created at Kellogg Community College, the Liberty Club. Michelle and some other students had been arrested for exercising their free speech rights. ADF ensured that the college respected Michelle and her friends’ constitutional rights.

Alliance Defending Freedom also protects parents’ rights to protect their children’s welfare, health, and upbringing. For instance, a school board in Virginia has imposed policies that discriminate against some races and indoctrinate students with a comprehensive race-based theory. ADF has sued that school’s board, which represents various children and their parents, to ensure that the student’s civil rights are not violated.

ADF engages in legal defense alongside several organizations across the world. This organization is recognized globally by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, the Organization of American States, and the European Parliament.
